Tipton & Coseley Building Society help out at launch of new Midlands Air Ambulance Shop
Tipton & Coseley Building Society staff have been rolling up their sleeves and helping out at the launch of a brand new Midlands Air Ambulance charity shop, recently opened in Walsall Town Centre.
The team have been assisting the full-time MAA volunteers by managing donations of clothes, books, homewares and furniture as well as sorting stock, pricing goods and helping to replenish merchandise within the store. The Tipton team also assisted with decorating the store ready for launch.
The Society has publicly supported the charity for the last year and is on course to raise £5000 after engaging in a number of fundraisers this year including weekly staff dress down days and CEO Richard Newton undertaking a 150 mile sponsored indoor bike ride in November.
Mark Schofield, Branches Manager at Tipton & Coseley Building Society said:
“Midlands Air Ambulance has helped to save many lives since it was founded in 1991 and is very close to our hearts at Tipton & Coseley Building Society. Our staff love to volunteer and it was a pleasure to roll up our sleeves and sort through donations and help stock up the shelves at the new shop”.
