Tipton colleagues held a charity bake off, collecting £195.

A team of talented bakers rose to the challenge and created an array of tempting treats, everything from cupcakes and cake pops to traditional favourites like Victoria sponge.

The money will be added to a fundraising pot and shared at the end of the year between four local charities, all chosen by our colleagues.

The Tipton is proudly supporting Acorns Children’s Hospice, Balls to Cancer, Heartlands Hospital Neonatal Unit and Midland Langar Seva Society throughout 2024.

Various colleague directed activities are planned to encourage donations and raise awareness of the charities and their vital services.

Emma Gibbons, Senior Marketing and Product Administrator, won the coveted title of star baker for her mouthwatering Biscoff fudge.

She said: “Helping the community and ensuring we make a difference within the Black Country sits at the very heart of what we do as a mutual.

“The bake off is one of the highlights in our calendar and we all really enjoyed getting involved.”
