Society shortlisted for industry award

The Society has been shortlisted for an industry award in recognition of our mortgage lending for first time buyers.

The Moneyfacts Awards have become known as one of the highlights of the personal finance industry calendar. They are totally independent and are presented annually for product excellence and outstanding service and cover products from across a range of financial services.

We have been announced as a finalist in the category for Best First Time Buyer Mortgage Provider and Chief Executive, Richard Newton says: "Helping local people, in particular first time buyers, buy their own homes is at the heart of what we do so to be nominated for a coveted industry award is a great achievement."

The Moneyfacts Awards are taking place on Tuesday 6 June at The Pavilion at the Tower of London.
