Colleagues at the Tipton have hatched a cracking plan for Easter to donate chocolate eggs to a local charity.

We’re supporting Dudley Group NHS Charity’s annual Easter Egg Appeal, so patients staying in hospital over the Easter break can unwrap a sweet treat.

More than 100 eggs were handed over during a visit to Russells Hall Hospital, which will be shared across the Renal Ward and also the Georgina Ward for oncology and haematology patients.

Nithee Patel, Dudley Group NHS Charity’s Head of Fundraising, said: “It’s great to see the Tipton & Coseley Building Society hopping into the spirit of Easter and getting behind our latest appeal. Our charity enhances the wellbeing and experience of patients and staff by providing services and facilities not routinely funded by the NHS.

“Thanks to the generosity of businesses like the Tipton, we can create a little happiness for everyone in our care and offer them a tasty chocolate egg to enjoy.”

Emma Gibbons, the Tipton’s Interim Marketing Lead, added: “This is the second successive year we’ve collected Easter eggs on behalf of Dudley Group NHS Charity and it’s fantastic that so many colleagues at our head office and four local branches wanted to make donations.

“It was a pleasure to visit Russells Hall and find out exactly where the eggs will be distributed, hopefully raising a few smiles along the way.”
